This master´s thesis deals with the identification of risks which affect the operations of experts activities in the Czech Republic. To obtain the necessary information there will be used a questionnaire in which the forensic experts in the field of Economy will be addressed.In the first part of the thesis there are described theoretical recourses which contains the explanation of basic concepts which are connected with identified risks. The second part of the thesis deals with the professional insurance of experts. By the SWOT analysis will be processed each expert knowledge on the topic of “The Basic issues of the expertising from the risk management.“ Finally will be evaluated the current state of expert activities in the Czech Republic and will be suggested possible measures.

Vliv pojištění odpovědnosti za škodu na hospodaření podnikatelského subjektu

The thesis deals with the effects of liability insurance on the economy of a com-mercial enterprise. The goal is to propose measures to minimize the costs incurred by a commercial enterprise in the event of damage arising from liability. The solution to the problem included a risk analysis of the company and a recommendation for a suitable comprehensive liability cover portfolio. It was followed by the selection and assessment of tenders from commercial insurance companies using a scoring model. Given the list of insured events, it was discovered that all of the insured events would be covered by the proposed portfolio of the winning bidder -- Česká pojišťovna a.s. The main benefit of the thesis is the optimum insurance protection of company ABC a.s. minimizing the negative impacts of liability risks.

Pet insurance in the Czech insurance market

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the pet insurance products on the Czech insurance market. The work consists of three, consecutive, parts. The introductory part discusses the general characteristics of the product, as well as its short history. The main part focuses in detail on the various offers of domestic insurance companies offering the pet insurance and also compare them. The last, practical part of the thesis includes a calculation of the prices for specific examples.

The bachelor thesis titled "Possibilities of using insurance to cover damage during construction and assembly" is focused on the analysis of risks arising from investment work and characteristics of basic types of insurance, which cover these risks. There is a description of the current situation in the Škoda Auto a.s. Finally the work proposes solutions how to cover company's gaps in insurance or the alternative risk insurance. The purpose of this work is to assess the situation at Škoda Auto, or to indicate gaps in insurance of construction and assembly risks in the company's business and then highlight the findings.

Road Carrier's Liability for Parcel Damage

There can occur to loss or damage of parcel during the road parcel transport. Consequently negotiations begin between carrier and consignor about the compensation for damage. Object of this essey is to set up methodical explanation of process of determination of liability for parcel damage, amount of compensation, obligations of both sides during occurence of loss and exculpatory reasons for carrier. Second part of essey is focused on insurance methods available for parcel transport. Essey covers both domestic (czech) and international transport.

Differences in the structure of non-life insurance in the Czech and Slovak Republic

Bachelor's thesis on the topic of 'Differences in the structure of non-life insurance in the Czech and Slovak Republic' is divided into five parts. The first part focuses on the legal framework of both countries with emphasis on technical reserves and insurance agents. Further it continues with the characteristics of non-life insurance structured depending on the form of insurance, ie. the insurance construction, and also depending on types of risks for non-life insurance of persons, property and liability. One of the most important activities of an insurance company is included in the penultimate chapter headed 'The Settlement of Claims'. A description of the various stages of the process of liquidation and differences in liquidation of certain types of non-life insurance is also included. The last part is devoted to the analysis of differences of insurance markets in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
